We repair gas-powered outdoor power equipment only — lawn mowers (push, self-propelled, and riding), weed eaters, string trimmers, leaf blowers, edgers, chainsaws, generators, pressure washers, and more. We do not service electric or battery-powered equipment of any kind.
No. Dad Fix It services gas-powered equipment only. We do not repair electric (corded) or battery-powered equipment.
We service all major brands including Honda, Toro, Husqvarna, Stihl, Craftsman, John Deere, Echo, Kubota, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Briggs & Stratton, and many more. No matter the brand, our technicians have the expertise to get your equipment running.
Most repairs are completed within 24-48 hours. Simple services like blade sharpening or spark plug replacement can often be done same-day. More complex repairs like carburetor rebuilds or engine work may take 2-3 business days. We'll give you an estimated timeline at your scheduled appointment.
Our diagnosis fee is $80, and it's applied toward the cost of the repair if you decide to proceed. We'll thoroughly inspect your equipment, identify the problem, and give you an upfront price before any work begins. No surprises, no hidden fees.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. We are closed on Sunday. All service is by appointment only — please book through our online calendar.
Yes. We offer pick-up and drop-off for a flat $50 fee, which covers collecting your equipment and returning it after the repair. This is especially handy for larger equipment like riding mowers. Add it when you book your appointment online, or call us at 678-345-8996.
Yes, we stand behind all of our work. All repairs come with warranty coverage on both parts and labor. We want you to have complete confidence in every repair we perform.
We're located in Auburn, GA and serve the surrounding communities including Duluth, Lawrenceville, Winder, Dacula, Norcross, Buford, Suwanee, Sugar Hill, Snellville, Lilburn, Grayson, Peachtree Corners, and Berkley Lake.
Simply make sure the equipment is reasonably clean and drain any excess fuel if possible. If the equipment has a bag or attachments, you can leave those at home unless they're part of the issue.
